In our studio, Chris and Mollie Ruttle, owners of a Best in Class Education Center franchise and their son, Carter will tell us what qualifications you should look for when  selecting supplemental education.

Chris Ruttle is currently Managing Owner of Fortview Group Inc d/b/a Best in Class Education Center, bringing teacher-led supplemental education to the north-Atlanta market. He also is CEO of Rathkeale Ventures LLC, which specializes in scaling small to midmarket companies in a variety of markets. Prior to his current ventures, Chris was CEO of Vumii Imaging Inc., a global company developing, manufacturing and selling long range security camera systems worldwide to users in the transportation, critical infrastructure, and government markets. Earlier he served as Vumii’s CFO and COO during its startup phase, successfully commercializing products and scaling the business, as well as leading Vumii’s sale to its current owner. Prior to Vumii, Chris spent 25 years with General Electric’s industrial systems businesses, where he transformed a diverse set of operations while serving roles including CFO, as well as General Managers of Manufacturing, Sales, and Business Development. In addition he spent two years as Senior VP of Sales and Marketing with AO Smith’s Electrical Products Group, an $800M manufacturer of electric motors. Throughout his career, Chris has demonstrated an effective global mindset developed during extensive assignments across Latin America, Europe, Israel and China; he is fluent in Spanish and German. Chris is a graduate of Wabash College with a BA in Political Science and German. He has also completed GE Crotonville’s Business Management Course as well as executive education at Georgia State University. Outside of work, Chris volunteers with church and civic organizations, and also mentors individuals one-on-one.
