After working in the Film and Video Business in both New York and Atlanta for 20 years; she is currently working as a Supported Employment Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia at Skyland Trail which is a private nonprofit, community-based residential and day mental health treatment facility for adults diagnosed with a mental illness. Skyland Trail takes a holistic approach toward treating mental illness including Psychiatrists and Therapists as well as adjunctive therapies like Recreational, Horticulture, Art, Music and Vocational Services. Skyland Trail also has a Primary Care Clinic on site. Skyland Trails tag line is offering hope, changing lives. She has been working in Vocational Services for 16 ½ years and previously worked at Northside Hospital Behavioral Health. Rebecca Buck is actively involved as a member of Peachtree Toastmasters, one of Atlanta’s oldest, largest and most respected Toastmasters Clubs in the region. She is an active volunteer in her community and has served and is serving on the Board of Trustees of One Hundred Shares Inc., Metropolitan Employment Networking Association, and on the Membership Committee at Buckhead Business Association. She is passionate about learning, networking, teaching and training vocational skills and believes that connection is the key to successful employment. To have a LIFE one needs to WORK with BALANCE.
